According to a new report in La Rotonde, current SFUO President Seamus Wolfe interfered in the recent SFUO Elections. Specifically, former CEO of the Elections Bureau Julien de Bellefeuille accuses Wolfe of interfering with his penalizing of Presidential Candidate Amalia Savva with regards to the Roxanne Dubois collusion situation.
But I pose the question, if Mr. Wolfe acted inappropriately in the role of SFUO President and Elections Committee member, how can we trust his actions while he was acting as usurped-CEO of the Elections Bureau?
Simply put: we cannot. Unfortunately, at this point, we are stuck. It would not be appropriate to force the candidates to re-run, and put them through the stress of another campaign. But something needs to be done. And that thing is the early resignation of SFUO President Seamus Wolfe and an overhaul of the Elections rules to help prevent this sort of situation from happening again.
A programming reminder, this Sunday is the next BOA meeting, and I am planning on webcasting the meeting live for all those who cannot (or do not want) to attend live. Plus, you can have the Gold-Medal game on while you watch the BOA!
