  • Could we get a list of the candidates that were present in the February elections?
Just to make sure who we should be voting for and not the political opportunist that are now on the new list

    Thank you sir,
    Good day

  • Maxime

Can you distinguish between who chose not to run, and who was not allowed to run?

  • KJ

Done, although I only know of the two disqualifications.

  • Michael Kelly

Well, my original ballot is not quite possible it seems from the list above.

This by-election right after the main one is a huge problem…

    A) No one is paying attention (Not that anyone was to begin with if voter turnout was any indication)
    B) It just seems harder to get information about candidates around this time of year and the Student Associations are having elections as well.

Very disappointed with the turn of events…

Matika Lauzon was also disqualified for the same reason as the Amanda’s.

  • Michele Lamarche

Since it became clear that we would have a “special election”, I was against candidates who had to run again from being forced to hand in new sheets with signatures. They were eligible to run the first time and did nothing to deserve this second election. Now the Amandas and Matika have disqualified in this second turn for problems with thei signatures. This is extremely unfair. I have expressed my opinion to Seamus and will be writing a letter to the elections committee expressing my frustrations. This ia absolute BS and I don’t care who knows it.

  • Robert Prazeres

Agreed. The three SFUO elections this year have climaxed to BS beyond words.

    Very unimpressed.
